0Mn2 alloy this is a medium carbon tempered manganese steel, steel strength, plasticity and wear resistance are high, machinability and heat treatment process performance is also good, the critical quenching diameter in oil up to 8.5 ~ 23mm, critical quenching diameter in water up to 20 ~ 42mm; However, there are tempering brittleness and overheating sensitivity, and it is easy to crack during quenching. This steel has white spot sensitivity, cold deformation plasticity is not high, poor weldability, need to preheat to 100 ~ 425℃ before welding.
