Product Description
Stainless Steel 202 is one of the widely used precipitation hardening grade which possesses high hardness, strength &good corrosion resistance. It is similar to the properties of 302 stainless steel. Stainless Steel Grade 202 machinabilityproduces long gummy chips. In annealed condition machining can also be performed. For full martensite transformation& heat treatment the material has to be soaked at 1038°C (1900°F) for 30 min and cooled below 16°C (60°F). AWS E/ER630 is the recommended filler metal. By pre-soaking for 1 h at 1177°C (2150°F) Forging can be done.
